Portland Japanese Garden
The Japanese Garden above Portland is a place of serene beauty. The meticulous layering of stone and sand, waterfalls and ponds, trees and shrubs creates a calm oasis. It was a lovely change from the cacophony of color and scent found in the rose test garden.
There were bells to ring and fish to see and raked sand to contemplate for Jeff and Dale. Janet had previously visited the garden during a high school field trip and the unique memory of it has always stayed with her.
I’m ready for the next Manry Family move. St. Louis has a Japanese garden as part of thier Botanical Gardens but this waterfall is exquisite . The water looks turquoise .
