Early last week, Josiah informed me that his quidditch team would play a tournament at George Mason (2 1/2 hours from CNU – 40 minutes from home) on Saturday. The team would be staying at a teammate’s home somewhere in Northern Virginia.
We, of course, live in the outskirts of Northern Virginia.
Last Friday night, I received the following text from my eldest: “Lancelot’s house is in Maddy’s neighborhood.”
(Maddy is Josiah’s friend from high school.)
“Are you telling me that you are sleeping 5 minutes from home tonight?” I asked.
“Yes and I think he lives on the same street,” he replied.
